View the footage and specials so far in our Watch Now section Episodes 1-4 (1 hour each): Tunnack Main Road: Oatlands to Colebrook. Our detailed exploration on and around this historic road in the Southern Midlands of Tasmania ended up airing over four TV special episodes.

In the first one hour special, we started our adventure at the popular tourist town of Oatlands. Then it was back in the truck and on down the Tunnack Road, visiting the historic Oatlands Catholic Cemetery. There's so many small heritage townships and intriguing things to see and experience along this fantasic alternative tourist drive!

Approximately 20 minutes along this paved country road we came to the old Baden General Store. All around Baden are amazing sandstone ruins, plus some breathtaking views, gorges and native forest.

We decided (Episode 4) to detour at the highway junction and travel through Woodsdale to Buckland on the East Coast. And wow, it was worth it not just for the mountains and bush or the creek crossings, but for the fantastic junk and second hand centre "The Buckland Bazaar"!

Here's our collage view of one of the great historical road we travelled in this part of the Heritage Highway region of Tasmania.
